AIC INTELLIGENCE, LLC ("AIC", "we", "us") operates the Market Discovery Reports service at aic-intelligence.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
AIC INTELLIGENCE, LLC is a Delaware (USA) limited liability company. For privacy matters, contact us at privacy@aic-intelligence.com.
2. What data we collect
2.1 Buyer data (you, our customer)
When you purchase a report, we collect:
- Email address (required for delivery and support)
- Payment information — handled by Stripe; we never store card details
- Approximate location inferred from IP at checkout (used for tax compliance)
- Browser metadata: user-agent, referrer, page views (privacy-respecting analytics)
2.2 Subject data (the businesses appearing in reports)
Reports contain information about businesses with public Instagram profiles and Google Maps listings. We process only data that is publicly visible: handle, business category, biography, public posts, hashtags, follower counts, contact information voluntarily published by the business, and geographic information.
We do not access private accounts, scrape direct messages, use Instagram's Graph API outside its terms, or process information that is not publicly available.
3. How we use data
- Buyer data: deliver reports, provide support, send transactional emails, comply with tax obligations.
- Subject data: generate market discovery reports for our customers, who use them for B2B prospecting and market research.
4. Legal bases (LGPD)
For data subjects in Brazil, we rely on the following legal bases under LGPD:
- Legitimate interest (Art. 7, IX): processing publicly available business data for B2B market research is a recognized legitimate interest, balanced against the data subject's rights.
- Performance of a contract (Art. 7, V): for buyer data necessary to deliver the service.
- Compliance with legal obligation (Art. 7, II): for tax and audit records.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use only essential cookies (session, CSRF protection) and aggregated, anonymized analytics (no third-party advertising trackers, no cross-site tracking). You can disable cookies in your browser without breaking the public site.

7. Data retention
- Buyer accounts: kept for 7 years for tax/audit compliance.
- Reports: deleted from the buyer's link after the tier's access window (30/60/90 days, or while subscription active for Continuous).
- Subject data: refreshed continuously; data older than 12 months is purged unless the business remains active.
8. Your rights
8.1 California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
You have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have about you
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information (we do not sell or share)
- Non-discrimination for exercising these rights

8.2 Brazil residents (LGPD)
You have the right to confirmation, access, correction, anonymization, portability, deletion, information about sharing, and revocation of consent. Same contact above.
8.3 Businesses appearing in reports
If your business appears in our index and you wish to be removed, email privacy@aic-intelligence.com with the Instagram handle. We process removals within 7 business days.
9. Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
Pro and Continuous customers can request a Data Processing Agreement. Email legal@aic-intelligence.com.
10. Security
All data in transit is encrypted (TLS 1.2+). All data at rest is encrypted via Supabase / Cloudflare R2 storage. Access is limited to staff with a documented operational need and audited.
11. International transfers
AIC Intelligence is a US entity and our primary data infrastructure is in the United States. By using the service, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in the US under appropriate safeguards.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated by email to active customers and a notice on this page. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
